OEHHA Adds Bisphenol A to California Proposition 65 List

The Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) has announced the addition of bisphenol A (BPA) to the list of chemicals known to the state to cause reproductive toxicity. The Developmental and Reproductive Toxicant Identification Committee determined that BPA was clearly shown through scientific testing according to generally accepted principles to cause reproductive toxicity. The listing is effective 11 May 2015.
